 David Turner from near the Grand Tetons in Wyoming was the big surprise in the 2nd5th .. his focused and determined play landed him in a tie with course regular after the 9 hole tourney play .. he lost in the sudden death playoff .. for a course "newbie" his play was incredible .. we hope he and his charming wife Anna return next year for more "HOT TOURNEY ACTION!"

 Gary from Guadalajara stunned with tension and excitement
 MaMa (Felix's daughter), Manitoba Humanitarian, Dork of the Week and 2nd5th winner Barry and Felix after stunning sudden death victory
 Wyoming player David Turner challenged recent DorkoftheWeek Barry after tying in lregular play in a sudden death last hole .. Barry scored a two over David's 4 to win the whole bag .. well, the whole ball bag
 Felix and Rene playing .. Felix, a muliple sack winner, arrived overserved, played a weak game
 Larry at the gate with his picture from last year .. the picture was used in a one of a kind memorial coffee cup .. something Larry NEVER drinks

 AnnaTurner from Wyoming and Rick from Alaska came by with two "thanks" cases of beer the day after the 2nd 5th .. now that's what we call DorkyClass!!!
 Zihuatanejo´s own Bon Vivant and Fisherman Felix Corrales won for the second time .. but the 1st Fifth Annual was even mores noteworthy for largest crowds ever .. music .. a stiring rendition of the Mexican Nationnal Anthem .. a Beer Crisis and two holes-in-one shot back to back by two women players .. a Dorky first ever .

 The Mexican National Anthem was beautifully sung by the Campos-Leon family from Michoacan (Morelia and Coalcoman).. our thanks to them and our heartfelt thanks for their friendly hospitality .. WE LOVE MEXICO!!!
 The "Larry plays last" strategy didn´t work this year .. the "get to loose level three" was past and the too drunk to play effectively level 4 was in its´ later stages when Larry started playing ..

 The "Dorky Way of Life" is simple philosophy:sleep late and then take a nap after breakfast; crackin' that first beer at 7am, eating when ya want, drinin' fresh orange juice in the hammock, good friendships and going to bed at "swirly time" (not mandatory) and for certain members: No Leaving Dorky Park Grounds after 6pm.
 Sergio Castro: owner of Casa La Playa, home of Dorky Park .. this "caballero" knows his beer. Sergio is known as Zihuatanejo's first cold beer seller .. his system of "save your caps .. pay later" honor system is appreciated by all. Note: the number of players on late season "Dorky Wall of Fame"
 Maybe the best example of the Dorky lifestye is "Pinche Pedro" who seems to be a born Dork ... here is Pedro's office on the day after Thanksgiving 2003.. Pedro can often be found in his office ..now that's a Dorky understatement!

 Dorky rule #501.1.3: If in the course of play the ball should be unplayable (out of bounds, in the frog hole, unreachable in any manner as determined by dorky official .. usually the soberest of the drunks) .. the player must pick up ball and drop directly behind back and penalize self one stroke .. ball may not be tossed into clear or towards hole ..
